Compact, space saving incubator for the incubation of membrane filters on nutrient pads or other nutrient media. The incubator has a capacity of 15 liters and is designed to hold the following numbers and sizes of petri dishes: 200 x 47 mm or 160 x 56 mm | 60 mm or 72 x 90 mm. The swing-up cover and removable insertion plate simplify loading and unloading. The cover is opaque avoiding light penetration into the chamber.
